Follow Scatter Girl on...

As most of you know, Google Reader is shutting down July 1st, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to let you guys know of some other ways you can follow my blog!

Bloglovin'

For those who don't know (I am sure most of you do), Bloglovin' is a site where you can manage the blogs you follow and get updated when blogs have new posts.  It is very similar to Google Reader and is probably the easiest way to follow my blog.  I love Bloglovin' because I follow about 60 different blogs and it would be impossible to keep up with all of them without it.  I definitely recommend making an account! You can follow me here

Whenever I publish a new post I update all of my social media about it.  So, if you don't have a Bloglovin account, you can also follow me on:

Please feel free to follow any of my sites and I will check you out as well! Have a great day.

It's a Beautiful Day

Madewell sweater, shorts, and bag, Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, Ralph Lauren sunglasses

I feel like I cannot really pull off wearing an all white outfit and messy, wavy hair anywhere but the beach, so I thought I would take my pictures there this week.  These were shot on a part of Jones beach on Long Island, which I think is one of the most beautiful beaches.  Over the summer, my family tends to go to the beach at least once a week, because its only about 20 minutes from my house, so hopefully I will be taking more blog photos there soon.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Poolside

Topshop dress, Rachel Zoe sandals (on sale!), Madewell hat and ring, Forever 21 necklace, House of Harlow 1960 necklace, Dannijo bow bracelet, Anthropologie bangles, Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, all other jewelry: vintage

I always thought pools had a very chic quality to them, so I decided to take some shots on the diving board whilst visiting my family in New Jersey for Father's Day.  I am really into wearing plain clothes with loads of jewelry at the moment, so I have chosen to be comfy in a plain Topshop dress and pile on the gold.  Also, this floral cap is so impractical, so I am so happy I found an occasion to wear it.  What is your go-to for summer?

This is my first official week of summer vacation and it feels quite strange to not be constantly stressed out.  Hope you all are having a great week as well!

Just Another Manic Monday

Madewell dress, MR Dannijo necklace, Michael Kors watch, Boutique 9 booties, Free People friendship bracelet

Recently, the majority of my blog posts have been relatively casual outfits because I have just been shooting in what I wear to school, so I decided it was time to dress up a little for you guys.  I wore this out to dinner on saturday night and am now totally in love with this dress.  The vertical stripes on the side panels totally denote any misconceptions about horizontal stripes adding weight and the comfort of a high pony was definitely necessary in this heat.  Also, I am still totally obsessed with my Man Repeller x Dannijo necklace; if you don't know who the Man Repeller is she is the most amazing blogger and you should definitely look her up.

I think it is important that I announce to you guys that today was probably one of the happiest days of my life thus far because it was my last day of junior year of high school!  Now I still have finals, but school is officially over, and I could not be more excited to be a senior.  Junior year was the hardest school year of my life, with so many AP classes, SATs, ACTs, clubs, sports, jobs, and college searches, and I am so happy to be moving on to doing things that I actually am excited about.

With the end of junior year comes a plethora of new time, which means I will be able to post on here at least twice a week.  I cannot wait to continue building this blog and learning more about blogging.  Hope everyone had a great and crazy monday too!
